Funeral Finders was set up to do exactly as the name suggests — find funeral homes or funeral services in your area. We cover the entire country and we have taken the time to list every funeral home we have found. If you know of another funeral home — or you are a funeral home who wants a free listing on our site, please go to our contact page and follow the instructions (this will take you to a page with just a simple email form with detail boxes so we can add to the database).

In every town there are a number of funeral homes – over the coming months we aim to start obtaining reviews about each funeral home. This will be based on price, service, attention to detail and overall service. This will give you the confidence you need to choose a funeral home giving you one less thing to worry about.

There is much debate about funeral homes and whether people can take care of arrangements themselves. Quite frankly, we have yet to ask for information on DIY burials as most people would rather a specialist with the relevant knowledge required to deal with your loved ones with the care and attention they deserve.

Also, it is important to remember that there are two independent organisations that have service standards for funeral homes — each has its own code of practice which include ensuring that clear information is given about pricing, (including displaying a price on the premises), giving a written cost estimate and both ensure that their members have a simple funeral offering (a cheaper but dignified alternative).
